Ryan Denhof, a senior at Liberty High, won the Division 1 boys title by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 15:46.3 at the Arizona Interscholastic Association state championship meet at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Denhof helped Liberty take the top two spots, producing a third-place team finish with 136 points.
